Gábor Betegh

Gábor Betegh is Laurence Professor of Ancient Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. Previously, he worked at the Philosophy Department of CEU (2001-2014).  He published The Derveni Papyrus: Cosmology, Theology and Interpretation (CUP, 2004), co-edited Conceptualising Concepts in Greek Philosophy (CUP, 2024) and Cicero’s De Finibus: Philosophical Approaches (CUP, 2015) and published numerous book chapters and articles on ancient metaphysics, cosmology, theology and religion in CUP, OUP, De Gruyter, Brill, Routledge and elsewhere.
